I'll digg in the files and provide suggestion(s) for a next step tomorrow when I wake up. I had something in mind, but can't remember for what and what it was.

To answer your questions, you could if there are updates :)
Please don't call yourself 'noob', most of us were in the same position as you are some time ago. Ask any question you want and you get an answer :)

I know, your BIOS information is in a few places present in the files :)

I did just see that the graphics driver had an update release that coincides exactly with when I first started having problems. But when I check on the AMD website they do not have any updates for me...

    Driver-Graphics - AMD (1)

    AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver 15.200.1055.0 Rev.A 408.1 MB Jul 18, 2016 Download
    HP's Terms of Use
    Details

Please tell me that it is possibly this easy of a fix. Or don't because then that would mean I am a colossal bone head.

AMD isn't where you should get your drivers from, you should get your drivers from HP.

Sorry, all of the other info I found online told me to go directly to AMD and download their drivers. So, download the driver form HP then I take it?

You'll mostly find information for systems running on desktops, for those it is not a problem to go to AMD directly :)

As you have a laptop your laptop manufacturer is the best driver source, they usually alter their drivers. For some that is a -1, but often I see those that have used drivers that are not from the laptop manufacturer having their issues resolved with going back to the laptop manufacturer drivers.

Installed the new drivers from HP. This did not solve the problem. Still having BSoD problems, but now they seem to be happening all the time, not just when I am playing an online game.

In fact, the frequency of the crashes seems to accelerated greatly. I just had my fifth BSoD in less than 2 hours. They were happening only about twice a day, total, before downloading the new drivers from HP's website.

I understand what you're going through, but so long as you don't provide additional information nobody can help you with proper suggestions.

I guess I misunderstood the instructions the first time I read them. Do I need to attach a new log every time I crash?
