    Driver power state failure


    I bougth also a Toshiba Satellite s55t c5168 4k. I have several programs on it, but I only have problems with Autocad. I installed autocad 2016 service pack 1, I also installed the last nvidia driver for nvidia geforce 950M. Autocad runs only for a few minutes and then my laptop crashes, a blue screen appears with the message driver power state failure. I installed also Dwg Trueview 2017, just to view autocad files, but I have the same problem.

    It is unbelievable that this laptop can t support Autocad. Could someone solve this problem?

    Please read the warning at the top of this thread and post the BSOD data that will help us track down which driver is causing the problem.

After I received this message, Windows restarted the computer and I haven't had problems since. Not sure what information would be relevant but would appreciate any help.

Hey guys, So I did try googling it however I can't seem to open the dump file. I've installed the WinDbg etc from Microsoft Website however, says access is denied when trying to open within the program. So what do I need to do? Thanks!

Hello, my BSOD only appears while gaming online. I don't really have any other information than the BSOD does state that it is a power state driver failure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
