Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Dell. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver, you can use this tutorial for the installation part

I've done everything you've asked but now I'm getting a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error when playing the same games. It does what it would normally do when it crashes, except it actually goes to the normal BSOD error message. It starts to gather information about the crash but gets stuck at around 5-30%.

Note
MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.
Make a photo of the result and post it.
Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I'm not that competent with computer parts, are sticks only available to remove on desktops? Because I have a laptop.

Usually, the memory modules are under a small hatch or door on the back of the laptop that is held in place with one or two screws.
You have an Alienware 17, right? The Alienware 17 Service Manual shows how to remove/replace memory modules.

Ah, thank you. Also, I've been monitoring the memtest and noticed that it reverted back to pass 0 when it finished with its second pass. It reset the timer, too. Is this normal?

Not normal, no. Should continue to increase the pass count at the end of each one, unless you changed a setting I'm not aware of.

to see which one is defective.

Nope, I tried reinstalling it following the instructions, but this time the computer restarted without passing once.

Did you try removing 1 of the memory modules and run the test?
If the same thing happens, swap the memory modules and try it again.
If it works with one and not the other than "the other" is the defective one.
