Progress after 1 week......I got another BSOD "DPC watchdog violation" today. I was watching youtube in google chrome then my system started to freeze and I couldn't do anything. So I turned off the laptop by holding the power button and my laptop started with the BSOD.

Arc will stop by soon. Meantime, I noticed there is a BIOS update for your PC. You have ver 207, ver 209 is available, dated 2016/04/01.

Also noticed you have a lot of very old drivers. Some of that is normal but some is probably leftover from upgrading from Win 7 or 8 to 10.

    Code:
Module Name Display Name Link Date Path

Should I update my bios? How to identify and upgrade my old drivers?

Hang on a bit and see if Arc stops by. If not then I'd say go ahead and update the BIOS.

As for the old drivers, you can look at what is available on the ASUS web site and compare those dates to what Device Manager shows you.

If this was my PC I would backup my data and do a Windows 10 - Clean Install

I can't find a link for updating the BIOS. There are BIOS updates and a BIOS Update Utility on the web site but I don't see any instructions. Nothing in the users manual either.

Edit: I did find a youtube tutorial for ASUS computers. Take a look at it.

How To Update your ASUS Computer / Laptops BIOS! - YouTube

The person who recorded it is not the best and jumps all over but the basic ideas are there.
