They usually create a restore point prior the installation of the drivers, use the restore point and it should be fine.

Now my computer has a blue screen that says:

" Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you. (0% complete)

If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error:
    MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION"

    It's been at 0% for a while...

A MCE basically means that a hardware error has occured, though as simple as that might sound it can be various of things causing a hardware error, for example:
    • A BIOS bug or improper setting,
    • Overclocking,
    • Overheating,
    • Improper cooling,
    • Drivers,
    • motherboard manufacturer software,
    • Cabling,
    • Improper seating,
    • Defective hardware,
    • Power problem,
    • 3.3v, 5v or 12v values in the BIOS improper,
    • etc,

There are a lot of things that may cause a hardware error + hardware crashes are generally very non-informative what makes it even more difficult to find the cause(s).

It might help, but only if the system was online for lets say <15 minutes to load everything.
