Ran DISM the first time and it failed. Lucky I had a Win10 iso on hand. Now running Furmark to test the GPU.

Anything else I should do to try and narrow down the cause?

Please do NOT yet run Furmark, but see how it goes under normal circumstances.

What memtest did you run and for how many passes?

Oh dear. I ran it for 14 minutes. I closed it immediately after seeing your post.

I ran memtest86 for 2 passes with no errors. I did it a while back.

I could run it again for more passes.

EDIT: Geforce Experience won't install. I'm inclined to try the 362.03 driver instead. Thoughts?

Our requirement for MemTest86+ is at least 8 completed passes straight, with your amount of memory it'll take at least a day with luck. It could take up to 2 days, or more with bad luck.

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

I have run the full 8 passes. I have attached the pictures of the results.

As for my Geforce Experience refusing to install, any suggestions? Could be that the driver version that Windows automatically downloaded is incompatible.

I cannot run memtest86+. For some reason I can't boot into it. I followed all the instructions in the thread provided.

    Try following
    1. Disable fast startup Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
    2. Change the boot mode to legacy in the BIOS.

After disabling fast startup try to boot again

Is it normal for the percentages of the pass and tests to be inaccurate?

Reason being I'm using the time taken for 2 runs to average out how much time it would need to run 8 runs.

Just curious, why can't the other memtest86 be used? Aren't the testing algorithms similar?
