    I don't know how you you reply to one question at a time like you do. Is this what "Multi-quote" looks like? I've never seen that before today.

    With Revo, I meant even with the manual removal, I still found more files while in Search.

    Yes, with Device Manager, tested one at a time.
    I agree with you on clean install. The driver issue is now moot.

    I don't know why I asked about Windows updates - I know how to find them. When I remember my point, I'll say something.

    The recommended source for laptops is the laptop manufacturer, ASUS in your case.
    Laptop manufacturers alter the drivers they provide for the customer, this altering is basically a more optimization for the hardware.
    Any other source does not provide this altering, not a problem as you can still install drivers from other sources but then problems may be expected at any time.

    In such cases Windows Update normally provides drivers for most of the stuff. If however unfixable problems occur the best solution is to go back to the previous OS.

    Built-in obsolescence, Moore's law, and other forms of "progress." And when computers outlast OS - time to use laptop as a television connection. (Maybe.)

    i am in big trouble.
    clean install yesterday and 2x more today.
    as u know, i was using w10.

    keyboard and mouse (wired & usb) don't work - since 1st install yesterday. Can't install some drivers/have to tweak computer for that & to install software. Beyond my expertise/patience/ability.
    been unsuccessfully trying to fix.

    ASUS helped me w/drivers, but no luck.
    MS didn't even try.
    BIG known issue w/Win10.

    Spent 13 hrs to no avail and I am very angry & frustrated.
    standing & typing on laptop is awful. cannot work this keypad at all.

    thought i would install Win7 from disk, but ended up w/ANOTHER W10 installation.
    not enuf plan/prepare/native ability (!)

    Am sure you believe me: there is no solution. No agreed on fix (MS or anybody), but many Qs..

    What to do?

    What have you tried so far?
    The keyboard is built-in as you use a laptop?
    What mouse do you use?

    Do the drivers work that Windows 10 installs before you install any other software?
