Consistant Crashes/Freezes/Bluescreens
Firstly Apologies for the double post. I had previously been linked to the performance & maintenance forums while researching my issue.
Firstly, I've had no problems with windows 7 ever. Decided to upgrade to Windows 10 last year and used the free upgrade to do it.
Upgraded my pc around January this year, before the upgrade I wasnt having any of these issues.
Processor: Intel Core i7 6700K
32GB of RAM
Mobo: MSI Z170A GAMING M5 (MS-7977)
GFX: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (Gigabyte)
Got 2x SSD inside too.
Upon this new rig, i made a fresh install of Win 10 and have had nothing but issues ever since
Mostly but not always when gaming, ill get a loud noise from speakers, followed by having to hard reset the machine.
sometimes while on desktop ill get blue screens with varying error messages (its rarely the same one).
Other times, game will just randomly close midway through playing.
Things I've tried:
Reformatted both SSDs and Fresh install.
Memtested my RAM.
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Tweeked some motherboard power ratios based on articles read (Reset bios after this didnt work)
All Drivers are up to date including GFX.
C:\WINDOWS\system32>SFC /scannow - Returns the following message:
Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.
Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.
Im really at a loss of what to do, after spending the best part of £1,000 on parts i don't really want to have to buy anything else. If anyone has seen/heard of this problem and could offer some fix's I would be super grateful!
I've recently used CC cleaner so im not sure if the following will have any of the information you needed but I've included it anyway
