BSOD PC Freeze and reboot during Gameplay of Dark Souls 3

Game freezes/locks up within 2 minutes of game play in all situations, no specific action. I get warning that video driver has stopped and recovered, but sometimes the whole PC turns off and reboots.

The latest dump has one problem indicated:

    Code:
Unable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
    Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+c66160 )
I suggest completely uninstalling the Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile (near bottom of page) then install and run GeForce Experience to get the latest driver for you Nvidia cards which is:

    GeForce Game Ready Driver
    Release Date: 5/23/2016 Version 368.22

See if that gets rid of the problem.

unistalled display driver as requested and reinstalled using GeForce Experience, but problem still exists. I have the dump file from the last crash if that's of any use. Still searching for a solution

The oldest dump (122215-49765-01.dmp) indicates iomap64.sys.
    IOMap64.sys file information

The process known as IOMap or ASUS Kernel Mode Driver for NT belongs to software ASUS Kernel Mode Driver for NT by ASUSTeK Computer (ASUS USA
    ).

Description: IOMap64.sys is not essential for the Windows OS and causes relatively few problems. The IOMap64.sys file is located in a not clearly defined folder. The file size on Windows 10/8/7/XP is 0 bytes.

The driver can be started or stopped from Services in the Control Panel or by other programs. The program has no visible window. There is no detailed description of this service. The IOMap64.sys file is not a Windows core file. The application has no file description. Note: File does not exist any longer. Therefore the technical security rating is 35% dangerous.
There is no dump newer than 052716-20546-01.dmp (05/27). Did you get a BSOD the last time. Have you had any more. Look in C:\Windows\minidump and see if there are any dumps newer then 05/27? Id so please re-run the DM Log collector again in Administrator mode (right click on the program and select Run as Administrator).

I don't see nvlddmkm.sys even listed in drivers.txt, but it is in the dump from the 27th so there is a mismatch between the driver.txt file and the dump.

Since reloading the display driver as you recommend i have not had a BSOD, but game play still causes the game to freeze, locks up the PC, and takes about 30 secs for the PC to recover after i kill the application with task manager. It does not reboot on its own like it was previously, however i have only spent a few minutes testing since i updated the display driver.

i will test it more tonight and upload dumpfile afterwards.

thank you for your time and assitance!

No MOre BSOD, only Game freezing shortly after I start Dark SOuls III

I tested it several times and not recieved a BSOD or system reboot since reinstalling Display Driver. However, during game play of Dark Souls III the Game locks up and freezes. I have to use task manager to kill the application in order ti recover the PC.

HWa do you recommend my next step be now that part of the issue seems improved? ive attached a recent DM Log.
