    Status Update:
Yay! My "New" Computer is almost perfect! Prior issues are gone!
Rebuilding from scratch ... That's okay, worth the time to get everything just right and dump the garbage at the same time.
Maybe I can get some thoughts on 2 things.
    1) Machine is running very slowly. Not just my browser. Almost everything. Except it still boots very fast. My Resource Monitor doesn't seem to indicate any one thing.

    2) This likely isn't for this forum, but I'll toss it out and see what I catch: I reloaded Outlook 2010 and it set up a new .pst file. I've tried just about everything I can think of or Google offers and just can't get it to go to a secondary drive and latch onto my old .pst file.
    That's all for now.
Thanks to all for helping me find this new computer!

Try posting your question about Outlook in Browsers and email Some of the guys are very good with that stuff and maybe you can get some help.

As for the slowness, I am not sure what to advise you. It could be the ram issue. Maybe it will improve a lot when you get your new ram in. If not try the Performance and maintenance section.

I'm glad you have it running right again without the problems you were having. You did an excellent job.

    1) Performance: It takes a while for Windows to settle down - give it a few days and if it's still slow, there are things you can to to tune it.

    2) I haven't used Outlook since the last century
Have you tried the simplest thing - open the .pst file on the other drive (dbl click or right click > open with)
I seem to recall that worked and it gave me two stores in Outlook. But even I wouldn't trust my memory now-a-days

When all the windows updates will be installed and store apps will be obtained, the computer will start performing at its normal level; provided there is no issue with the basic hardware components.

    Thanks Arc!
Makes sense; must be another way to express Slartybart's comment including one of the reasons.
I'm sitting tight ... and smiling!
