    ntoskrnl.exe causing multiple BSOD

    Hello everyone,

My computer seems to be randomly crashing, most of the time while I'm gaming or trying to use my Oculus Rift. Sometimes it will crash almost immediately other times it will be hours or sometimes not at all. I've tried somewhat troubleshooting the issue but I now need your help to actually fix it. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, here's a little list of what I've already tried.
    • Done all Windows Updates
    • Unistalled Avast
    • Ran Memtest86+ for about 2 passes (i'm going to do a full 8 tonight)
    • Tried using driver verifier but my system wouldn't even boot (why I think its some random driver issue)
    • Ran chkdisk on my ssd
    • I've stress tested and monitored my gpu so its not overheating

I built this desktop a little over a year ago and its really always had these random crashes. Just recently started playing a bunch of Overwatch Beta and using my new Oculus Rift which is why now I really want to fix it. Anyways, let me know what else I can do or should try. Thanks for any help. Attached is the zip with the info.

    Hi Ginja Slice,

    Welcome to the 10forums :)

I had a short look at the logs, but I'll wait with posting a suggestion until you've completed the memory test.
I'm suspicious of a possible memory control problem given the various crashes where some point indirectly or directly to improper memory handling or memory storing.

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely.

Ran memtest overnight got all 8 passes with no errors. Just filled in my specs. Thanks for the quick response. Here's a more up to date dmp with some more crashes and i believe i actually got driver verifier running during a crash.

Do you have a USB network adapter?

This is new for me, an AVG driver flagged in a hardware crash dump.
I suggest that you uninstall AVG and use Windows Defender as alternative.
    Code:
    ffffd001`62859078 fffff800`3b5c1db0Unable to load image avgidsdrivera.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avgidsdrivera.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avgidsdrivera.sys
     avgidsdrivera+0x41db0
Make sure your USB device drivers are up to date, both for the motherboard and the USB devices.
I see you have some Razer devices? Razer devices can sometimes cause problems unfortunately so I would suggest that you replace it with another device.

I do not have usb network adapter. I have a PCI wireless card. But, I've uninstalled AVG. I've updated every driver I could which consisted of some motherboard ones and the Razer keyboard driver. I got driver verifier running again with all the drivers selected besides the logitech ones (idk why they are still there i uninstalled). Here's the updated dump with the crash that just happened. Thanks again.

I can try replacing the Razer keyboard later in the week if you think that's the issue.

Edit: the wireless card I have is a tp link tl-wdn4800

Why do you enable driver verifier in the first place?
FYI it did NOT cause the last BSOD.

The error is 0x124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (Windows Hardware Error Architecture)
This means that there are problems with your hardware, but this error is also caused by overclocking, faulty drivers or BIOS problems.
NOTE: the tests you have already done can be ignored.

    STOP 0x124 Troubleshooting

    Read carefully before proceeding.

    warning   Warning
If you're overclocking your system, revert back to stock clocks now.

    Note   Note
Test the system once the overclock is removed before continuing with the steps outlined below.

    Part One: CPU Stress Test
    Part Two: MemTest86+ RAM Diagnostic
    Part Three: Hard Drive Diagnostics
    Part Four: GPU Stress Test

    ONE

     CPU TEST

Run Prime95 and/or IntelBurnTest to stress test your CPU. Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU - Windows 10 Forums & CPU - Stress Test Using IntelBurnTest - Windows 7 Help Forums

    warning   Warning
Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

    TWO

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it please.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

    THREE

     HDD TEST

Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums
    Run following tests
    1. Short Drive Self Test
    2. Short generic
    3. Long generic

If the short generic fails, no need for the long generic.

    Note   Note
Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

Post screenshots/photos of the test results

    Run chkdsk
Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums

    Run HDTune to
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • check the health,
    • benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are
    • of the error scan,
    • make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
    • post screenshots with the benchmark of the
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

Best is to make screenshots/photos of these test results too.

    FOUR

     GPU TEST

Run Furmark to stress test your GPU. FurMark - GPU Stress Test - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note
Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.

    warning   Warning
Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

Sorry for the late response I was waiting for when I had some more free time to complete the stress tests. But I think you might've found the issue right off the bat. When I run prime95 test within 10 seconds my cpu temps skyrocket to 90-100° C (pic below) I stop the test pretty quickly because I don't want to damage anything. I've never overclocked my cpu and I just re did the thermal paste and heatsink, I'm getting the same temps. Thanks, again for the help.

I would like you to keep an eye on the temperature when you stress your system on your own way, thus keep an eye on the temperatures while your system is under load but not by a stress test.
