    igandnetmodem64.sys (Phone induced BSOD)

Every time I plug in my phone, my PC immediately freezes and a few seconds later it crashes from a BSOD. I get the error system_thread_exception_not_handled that is caused by the driver igandnetmodem64.sys. This only happens when the phone is in MTP mode and it works fine in PTP mode, however, what I want to achieve demands that the phone be in MTP and does not work otherwise.

The dumps indicate lgandnetmodem64.sys as the problem, which is as you suspected, part of your LG driver. I couldn't find any drivers on their web site (LG) so I suggest you do a live chat with LG tech support and see if they can help you.

You can chat with an LG Support Representative in real time!

I'll look into contacting I'll them. From experience, I doubt its a software issue with the phone as I've tried another phone of the same model and the same problem arises. Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver doesn't change a thing. I just hope they can do something about it.

That tells me it's a phone driver issue since it happens with more than one phone.

Did this work on a previous Windows OS like 7 or 8.1?

I recall the same problem before upgrading to win 10 from 8.1. Searching up the .sys file gives no result.

Best hope is that the LG tech can provide you with a newer driver. Please let me know how you make out?
