Hello SalemCBR. I have looked at the thread. I have to agree with @Arc. I would invest in a third party CPU cooler. The CPU temps you mentioned are way too hot. Temps will cause similar problems to the ones you have been mentioning. But, we cannot run any testing with temps that high. I read some user reviews on your CPU and there were many who complained of high temps. I would suggest that you get a decent CPU cooler and replace the thermal paste with a high quality paste. If you need suggestions on CPU coolers or thermal paste, I can help.

The temps may not be the only problem you have, but we can't test to find the problem until the temps are under control. Also, please tell us what case you have.

Thank you for your response. Sorry it took so long to notice.

I would very much like your opinion on recommended cpu coolers and thermal paste. I have no problem addressing one issue at a time.

If it will fit into your case the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a great cooler for the money. I use Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Paste.

Do not trust Speccy CPU temp reading on AMD APU's. I have three systems with APU's and Speccy gives very high readings. If I remember correctly that A10 will do a thermal shutdown at 95C. Install the ASUS AI-Suite and use it to monitor your temps and fans speeds.
Two of my systems use the same Asus A88X-pro and A10-7770K APU. I use all W10 default drivers except for the latest AMD display drivers. Check your manual and see if you are using the correct memory slots as that may be a problem.
I am out of town so can't look at my systems for exact setup I have.

I've got the CM Hyper 212 Evo installed with the Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste.
Actions that would take it quickly to 80c before are now about 60c. I have not had any BSOD so far, but had less after setting my BIOS and windows settings to power saving mode. (which also makes the 80c before 60c now comparision not apples to oranges.)

Switched back to performance mode in bios, then took off power saving mode in windows. Got one BSOD on startup.
Really haven't used the computer much since the cooling system was added.
Left new data log in case you wanted it.

Here is my system and you can see Speccy doesn't show correct temp.
My system is 12% overclocked and using stock CPU fan that came with CPU.

salemCBR, I hope you are listening to @Phone Man. You need to find a temp program that works well. 60C is way too high for an AMD CPU unless you are running something like Prime95. Phone Man can give you some good suggestions.

Also, have you installed any new programs or added any new hardware recently, especially just before this problem started?

These issues have been around since first startup. Did a few new windows wipes and installs. Even tried windows 7. I will use something else for gaging cpu temps. I appreciate everyone's help so far.
