    Persistent BSOD: driver_irql_not_less_or_equal L1C63x64.sys

    I've been having the same BSOD for the last few months. I haven't noticed a pattern about when it crashes, I tried to use the program Driver Booster 3 to update everything but clearly isn't a solution like I hoped.

    Since it started happening I've done both a system restore and a fresh install of windows 10, neither of which have helped. I've tried a number of things from other forum posts with the same error, but I can't remember specifics about what I did. A number of them cited Nvidia as causing the problem, I have an Nvidia 660m if that helps.

    Any help is appreciated.

    I have checked the latest crash dump only, because that provides adequate and enough information.
    Code:
    BugCheck D1, {0, 2, 0, fffff801a8d86cb3}

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for L1C63x64.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for L1C63x64.sys
    Probably caused by : L1C63x64.sys ( L1C63x64+6cb3 )

    The failing module is the driver to Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. And it does not support windows 10.

    Being curious, I looked a little deeper .... this is your computer:
    Code:
    BiosVersion = G75VW.223
    BiosReleaseDate = 01/07/2013
    SystemManufacturer = ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
    SystemProductName = G75VW
    SystemFamily = G
    SystemVersion = 1.0
    SystemSKU = ASUS-NotebookSKU
    And it also is not compatible with windows 10; apparently. ROG G75VW | ROG - Republic Of Gamers | ASUS USA
    I think you should contact ASUS. Ask them if you can run windows 10 on this hardware. If there is no compatible driver, then the issues are must.
