BSOD: Critical Process Died on Windows Insider Preview 14295

I decided to clean install 14295 and now I'm getting random BSODs related to CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Not even sure if the minidump is being saved since it never reaches 100% on the blue screen.

For what it's worth, I'm on an XPS 15 9550, and I was not getting any blue screens on the non-insider install of Win 10.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

It's very hard to debug without a bluescreen.

You are running on Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview.
This is a beta version and may be containing issues. This is why the Insider Preview program exists.
To sort stuff out before they release it to the public.

What i would do in your case is revert back to 10.0.10586 (current version of W10 if i'm not mistaken).

    If i may suggest:

Next time you want to try a Preview version, i suggest you create a second partition on your harddrive and install it on there.
This way, if you encounter problems like you have now, you can always continue to use your stable W10 partition.
You have space enough on your D: to create such a partition. It's not hard to do! Google for "dual boot windows" and you'll find what you are looking for to set this up.

Thanks! I actually think it's because of some missing nvme drivers that I forgot to install. Hoping that works.

And as for the dual boot - I actually just reverted from a Dual Boot (was using Ubuntu as my daily driver). I did a full partition backup prior to upgrading, so I may just revert to that if the insider preview doesn't work out !
