As far as I know when booting Linux's, there should first be a ton of text output and then if I remember correctly Ubuntu's loading animation is the Ubuntu text and under it 5 small cubes over a light red clay background.

On your motherboard page there seems to be different revisions of the motherboard, do you know which one you have?

I ask it because different revisions will have different updates available.
    My motherboard revision is 2.0

Alright you had a new BSOD on the 20th.

    Bug Check 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
    Try different graphics card drivers.

So it is still pin pointing the graphics drivers.

@harko, does the same problem happen when you use a different GPU?

I don't know. I have old 8800 gt somewhere, so I will try it when I find it and let you know.

So I just tried my prehistoric nvida 8800 GT on Windows 10, and it works! My Computer can safely recover from shutdown/sleep.
So I decided to try my GPU in another's friend configuration, and guess what, it WORKS just like in my other friends.

So can someone please explain me what the hell is going on here??? Why my gpu doesn't work only on my computer??

It sounds like incompatibility, but I have a few questions for you since I can't find the answers in the thread.

Is the 8800 GT in the same slot as your other GPU?
Did you switch your other GPU from slots?

Yes, it's in the same slot as 7970 was. But how did this incompatibility happen just now, after 3 years I got 7970 on this exact same machine.

I wasn't talking about the GPU itself , I meant more a bug in the drivers with the 7970.

Both GPU's are proper working, slot is fine = no hardware problems.
Either the drivers are havin issues with the 7970 or there is somewhere else a conflict where I wouldn't have an idea of about how to get started with finding it.

Does motherboard BIOS have anything to do with it?

There is a possibility for it, the BIOS does affect many things.
