    BSOD after a few minutes of idle

    After leaving my computer alone for a few minutes my computer restarts with a REGISTRY_ERROR BSOD. I have disabled ".NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319 Critical" and ".NET Framework NGEN v4.0.30319 64 Critical" and also ran sfc/scannow with no integrity violation. I uninstalled and reinstalled my graphics drivers and also reseated the card.

    I don't really know what else to do so any help would be appreciated.

    I just checked the last 3 dumps and they all point to ngen.exe as the cause.

    You say you disabled ".NET Framework NGEN v.0.30319 Critical" and ".NET Framework NGEN v.0.30319 64 Critical". How did you do this?

    Looks like you have two versions currently installed:

    "Version"="2,0,50727,0"
    "Version"="4,0,30319,0"

    I would try uninstalling both of them then install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

    Create a System Restore point before doing this or if you can, do an image backup to an external hard drive or large flash drive using a program like Macrium reflect.

    I followed this picture found on another thread. https://www.tenforums.com/attachments...e_windows2.png
    EDIT: my bad, it's V4.0.30319

    I'll try your suggestion soon.

    Thanks for the link. I looked at mine and both the 64 and 32 bit NGEN entries are disabled.
