    I think I should be able to get a card. Do I need to uninstall the card's drivers first before installing the new card?

    If I took a picture of the r9 390, would you be able to tell if there is any damage to the pins or the card in general?
    That will not be very possible, mate. To check the pins, you need to see the reflection of light from the pins from various different angles. If any discrepancy is there, then you may find a pin is corrupt. Photographs are not enough to do it.

    Same for the overall damage. If it is not physically broker, you will not find the damage there externally.

    Maybe this last BSOD (from today) will answer the question. It was hardware corruption error, so hopefully i can figure out if its the gpu or not.

    Code:
    BugCheck 12B, {ffffffffc00002c4, 34f, 26d01397460, ffffd000206f5000}

    Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!ST_STORE<SM_TRAITS>::StDmPageError+ec )

    Followup:     MachineOwner
    ---------
    0x12B is always a hardware memory error.
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE (12b)
    This bugcheck indicates that a single bit error was found in this page. This is a hardware memory error.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: ffffffffc00002c4, virtual address mapping the corrupted page
    Arg2: 000000000000034f, physical page number
    Arg3: 0000026d01397460, zero
    Arg4: ffffd000206f5000, zero
    I see that the RAM is running at the least speed and no error is coming up in RAM test.

    I think it would be better for me to consult with my guru @essenbe at this stage.

    Hello greenburrito, I've just briefly looked over this thread. If you will please download, if you don't have it already, CPUz http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html and post screenshots here of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory and SPD tabs. On the SPD tab select each Dimm slot from a dropdown on the upper left and post screenshots of only the tabs with ram installed. Please post the screenshots here, this will tell you how. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1...en-forums.html.

    Also, please check the Manufacturer's web site and make sure your SSD firmware is current.

    I updated the SSD firmware, and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

    Attached are the screens of the respective sections of CPU-Z

    You say updating the firmware doesn't make any difference, so I am assuming you are still having the BSOD problem. I would like to try 2 things. I am assuming your Dram Voltage is set to 1.20, if it is set lower, increase it to 1.20. If it is set to 1.20 try setting it to 1.25. Your ram timings are within specs, but leave everything like it is but change the CAS Latenct (CL) from 15 to 18 and see if that helps any.

    I don't recall all that you have done, but please right click the start flag and select command prompt (Administrator) and paste this in the window and press enter. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Let it run. It should give you a success or an error message. It can take it some time to work, just let it run. See if any of that helps any.

    Ok, so I found that doing all of the above has made it so that if a game crashes, it doesn't ALWAYS go into a BSOD, it crashes within Windows. However I just had another BSOD titled "CRITICAL PROCESS DIED". I just ran sfc.exe and it found no integrity issues with the core system files. I'm at a loss here, I may have to take this into a shop to do more testing.

    Did you run memtest86+ again? Also, make sure your system is configured to create small memory dumps. This will show you how.

    I'm attaching the BSOD from May 2, and a bunch of new ones too. Everything from Chrome to Overwatch has caused a BSOD. I will try the memory test again and post a picture.

    I am also getting Red SOD's. How concerned should I be about that?
