Persistent Cold Startup BSODS - HELP PLEASE!!!

    Hello tenforums,

I have a custom intel/nvidia mini-itx build with win 10 that has been consistently BSOD on cold startup with various error codes. Its a really annoying problem. No drivers have been identified by whocrashed.

The system is completely stable once I am able to log in to windows, even through intense gaming and maxed heaven benchmarks. Nothing is overclocked and all drivers/BIOS are up to date. I have tried disabling Intel smart connect in BIOS at suggestion of another BSOD thread here but did not solve. I have clean installed win 10 from tech bench multiple times to try and fix the problem. Windows SFC finds no integrity violations.

    Gigabyte z87n wifi w/newest F6 BIOS
    Intel i7 4770
    Nvidia GTX 560 Ti

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Please make sure fast startup is disabled
Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Please make sure your Samsung 840 PRO firmware is up to date.
There is quite some NTFS and various other file system drivers in the dumps, please follow below instructions.
Some of the tests may be a bit difficult to try, be sure you have recovery media.

    Diagnostics Test

     HDD TEST

Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums
    Run following tests
    1. Short Drive Self Test
    2. Short generic
    3. Long generic

If the short generic fails, no need for the long generic.
    Note   Note
Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.

    Run chkdsk
Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums

    Run HDTune to
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • check the health,
    • benchmark.

It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
Let me know what the results are
    • of the error scan,
    • make a screenshot of the health of every hard drive and post the screenshots,
    • post screenshots with the benchmark of the
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

    Diagnostics Test

     System File Check

    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely.

    Thanks for reply axe0!

    Thanks for reply axe0!

Fast startup has been disabled! I'll give it a few days and plenty of cold boots to see if this resolves some/all of the startup BSODs. Attached are the disk drive tests you requested. SFC found no integrity violations. The two HDDs are setup in a mirrored MS storage space. Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

    Thanks again!
