"Kernel Security Fail" loop. Where's the error log? Repair option?
Just loaded Windows 10 on my third system [trial]. This is a mainstream corporate grade Dell Optiplex desktop.
I got errors I have not seen on any previous Windows 10 install. Everything looked fairly normal until - while I was away with real life - I am supposing it downloaded some more updates, after which, when I saw it again, I had a "your system encountered errors" message with "restarting" frozen. Error was "Kernel Security" check failure.
AFterward, it never successfully ran again. No BSOD or black screen, just stuck in that same cycle - load windows, encounter Kernel Security problem, gather data, "restart" which fails to restart. Power-down.
I finally reverted back to Win7 but would like to find the debris trail and figure out what went wrong.
Would a log be stored in the -~BT folder somewhere ??
