I reseated the motherboard and it made no difference. I tried putting an old mobo in to the case with it's own I/O plate and it lined up. My current motherboard seems like it's slightly warped or something which is strange. Only thing I did to it since I got it a year ago was add the Hyper 212 EVO heatsink. CPU is the same age.
I also just tried installing Linux on a separate hard drive and it froze while the disc booted. Did the same thing on 2 different linux OS install attempts. So it has to be the hardware.
So I'm currently running memtest86 to make sure it's not the RAM but i doubt it is. I'm thinking CPU or mobo at this point. I don't think it's the PSU or case as I just replaced those back in November but that was a few days after I installed Windows 10. Windows 10 installer would freeze almost everytime I tried to install Windows. Turning AMD turbo off made it work. But ever since then I've had issues so I'm not sure if its coincidence or something happened or what.
