    BSOD from a Bugcheck - Forced Reboot

    My computer suddenly encountered a BSOD and then forced a reboot. I got the following error message:

    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000fc (0xfffff8003f291fe8, 0x80000002203e8121, 0xffffd000258dd050, 0x0000000000000002). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: d6944d8b-c382-464b-98fa-728273f82200.

    Any assistance on what caused this would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    I probably should add what I was doing at the time. I had my usual programs open, Firefox, Outlook 2010, WordPerfect X7. And I was actively dictating an email using Dragon 14. Thanks.

    The crash was caused by a driver from Norton/Symantec, however unless you experience another bluescreen anytime soon there is nothing to worry about :)

    Driver Reference Table - BHDrvx64.sys
    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    Sorry for the delayed reply but thank you so much for this analysis!! i would have figured it was Dragon Nat Speaking not Norton.

    On a side note, all the help you and others provide in this forum is truly outstanding. Saved my bacon on numerous occasions. I knowit takes time to go though all of this stuff, so it is really very much appreciated.

    Thank you again!!
