I would suggest to run MemTest86+ when you're using your sticks at the same time.

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Good morning, the test so far is showing 1 error and I believe is on pass 8. Should I just leave it to finish?

    error info :
    tst.....pass.......failing address.........................good..............bad................err-bits...........count...cpu

sorry for the format, I am typing this on an iPad. The (.) full stops at the end of each answer? Are automatically added by my stupid iPad and are not shown on mem test

To me it looks pretty clear the other stick/slot is faulty.

To answer your question, there is no other way to test it then to switch.

So just to be clear, I should continue running tests with each stick of ram in different slots to find the issue?
