BSOD Windows 10 New Computer
Hi guys,
I'm experiencing random BSOD on my new computer and it's driving me crazy.
This is the rough timeline of events:
My friend helped build me a new custom computer (hes built a few before so I assume everything was put together correctly). Everything worked fine for approx 1 week, then I get a random BSOD - memory management error.
I ignore the issue and I get the random errors occur more frequently, finally getting into a non-stop loop of: BSOD on start-up, reset, BSOD start up, reset, etc. So I do a complete reformat and everything seems fine.
3 days later, BSOD memory management error occurs again.
I just tried installing microsoft office 2010 and halfway through I get a new BSOD error - system service exception.
I tried using the windows memory diagnostic tool to see if there's any memory errors but it doesn't completely finish. Basically it passes 2 times (with no errors cropping up), it appears to complete and the computer boots - but it never completely loads, the monitor is on but black. Thus I can never get a list of any potential errors.
The computer appears to run fine right now, but generally when I start opening more programs/installing things (I think?) the issue crops up again. I don't know what's wrong, but I'm guessing the issue is to do with memory?
this is my hardware list:
CPU - Core i5-6500 3.2Ghz 6MB LGA1151
GPU - Asus TURBO-GTX970-OC-4GD5 4G GTX 970
Motherboard - ASRock H110M-HDV Intel H110
Memory - Patriot PSD48G2133K(KIT) 8G Kit (4Gx2) DDR4 2133
PSU - Antec HCG-520M 520W High Current Gamer 'Modular'
Hard Drive - Sandisk Ultra II SDSSDHII 240G Q25 240G SATA3 SSD
I am by no means an expert, please let me know if you need any additional information. I would greatly appreciate any help.
