Seemingly random blue screen crashes occuring daily

    Hello,

My computer has since for as long as I remember experiencing bsod crashes at varying frequencies. I have previously searched for online help for this twice, but without any success. The error messages in on bsod vary a lot, but I think all that information is in the attached file. And I don't think there's much more to say about it.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please read my post properly, some things you may overlook quickly.
Please tell me, what have you already done so far?

Please uninstall Avast while troubleshooting and use Windows Defender as alternative.

     System File Check

    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

I have previously done some of these things when asking for help on microsoft's website, but as the help was unsuccessful I reset everything to how it was prior to this. So for practical purposes, I've done nothing so far.

    Avast is now uninstalled.

Mouse and keyboard are my only usb devices.

How do I know which drivers to look for on that intel website?

Similarly for NVIDA. Before I remove my old drivers, I would seem beneficial to know which drivers to download afterwards.

I am not using RAID for my hard drive setup.

    I've not run memtest yet.

The cbs.log file is uploaded to this link:
    CBS

I'll start filling in system specs right now.

The system info program is listing 7 sound cards, but the profile on here doesn't allow a sufficient number of characters for this, so here's the full list:
    (1) Realtek High Definition Audio (2) NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) (3) Intel(R) bildskärmsljud (4) NVIDIA High Definition Audio (5) NVIDIA High Definition Audio (6) NVIDIA High Definition Audio (7) NVIDIA High Definition Audio

Simply look for recenter drivers :)

    Please try following
Remove Intel Rapid Storage Technology applications.

    1. Uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Uninstall the driver from device manager:
    - Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
    - In the "Computer Management" window that opens:
    - Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices.
    - Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    - Select one Intel device item under it, right click, then uninstall.
    - Repeat the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
    3. Now restart the computer.
    4. Once booted, Windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.[/COLOR]
The data you can't add directly into the right category, I would add them into the 'other info' part.

For the intel drivers, I click on your link:
    Driver Reference Table - e1i63x64.sys
and then click on one of the "quick-jump links" to get the full list of drivers. From here, I press f3 and search for "network driver" and there are 27 results. I do not know how to progress from that point.

Intel Rapid Storage Technology applications are removed (there only was one).

I'm currently working on reinstalling the nvidia drivers. (edit: done)

edit: I now realize your link to intel was supposed to take me directly to the correct driver. However, I can not find any updates for it on this link. There's a link to a "driver update site", but it takes me to non-existing page on intel's webiste: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/404.html

Sorry, sometimes the driver update links become invalid due to site changes.
I'll let one of the webmasters know this :)

The correct download link: Download Network Adapter Driver for Windows 10

There are no errors in the cbs file, SFC didn't say 'couldn't repair'?

This is my mistake, seems I misspelled "scannow" for "sannow" and got a completely different type of result that did not include the key phrase.

Having redone it properly, I got the result "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation".
