    Kernel_security_check_failure bsod

A few months back I built my first PC, since then I've intermittently been experiencing BSOD crashes.

My computer crashes to a BSOD with the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error message but I've also rarely had the following BSODs:

    • DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION
    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY

That being said it's nearly always the KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE error; the other messages haven't happened more than once or twice each.

I've attached the DM Log but I'm fairly new at this so please let me know if there is any other information that would help fix this.

Help me Ten Forums, you're my only help.

Another crash seems to have happened while I was away from the PC, so I attached another ZIP.

    Hi Joenaldo,

I'm very sorry for the huge delay.
I've been very busy for the past 2 weeks and there aren't many people in this part of the forum.

Have you gotten any bluescreen in the past few days?
If you have, please run the dm log collector again and upload a new zip for the new data of the crashes.

Oh don't mention it Axe08, I'm very grateful you've replied at all!

Yes I have had a few crashes, all KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE except a BAD POOL HEADER error yesterday. After that I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, which didn't find any problems.

I've just had a crash now, so I've run a fresh DM Log Collector; attaching the upload now!

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from AMD. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

Thanks for your help, it seems although I thought I'd updated my drivers, I may have missed a major AMD update.

I've just installed it and I'm going to wait and see if this fixes all. If not I'll uninstall everything of AMD like you suggest, hopefully there will be no need.

Once again, thank you for your help! I'll keep you posted.

    UPDATE:

So merely updating my drivers didn't seem to work so I went your route, Axe0, and uninstalled all AMD drivers before replacing them. This worked for a time, going a few days without a crash, but yesterday I experienced one and have had two already today before midday. All 3 were Kernel Security Check Failures. Attached is the latest DM Log:
