    BSOD and (D) plus

    Hello

Would you please have a look at my post "Major issue with Store and many other apps not working", in Software and Apps? It will give you a good idea of the issue, and what I and others have tried unsuccessfully to do about it. I am not sure which of the two to treat as my priority. Whereas I presume BSOD and crashes is a complex but well understood issue (by people like you, not me!) I suspect this apps failure 'plague' is something new to (updated) Windows 10.

I tried Microsoft Chat (not that I have a lot of confidence in them) and the advisor I spoke to seemed non-plussed. The only suggestion he could make was to re-install, using the Media Creation Tool. I want to avoid that if possible, but it occurs to me that if I had to do it, the BSOD problem would probably be solved too. Perhaps you can advise me on that? Actually, I have not experienced it for a while so it may have been cured any way.

I don't know if Microsoft has learned about the problem with apps yet. When they do, as it seems many people have it I would hope they would issue a fix, such as a Power Shell command that works.

I suggest to try an in-place upgrade, it keeps all your data but the windows updates
I don't think this is a permanent solution, but it could buy some time to figure it out if it helps.

Additional to note, sfc/scannow isn't 100%. Even though it says no problem has been found it doesn't always mean there are no problems.
