Windows 10: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD (may be caused by external sound card)

    Greetings,

looks like I have kinda similar problem. I get BSOD almost everytime I disconnect Asus Xonar U3. Running W8.1 64 bit but I haven't found any similar thread. Everything is up to date. Have tried chkdsk, driver verifier, latest Asus driver...nothing helps.

Happens only when I disconnect the bloody soundcard.

When I had W7, it was running smoothly, but I had to upgrade to 8.1 because of shitty scalling in W7 for 3k screen.

I will run those tests and come back with the results.

I recommend you to create a new thread and Please read BSOD Posting Instructions & How to upload files
This way I won't be confused

Screenshots from both SeaTools and HDTune:

Seems like everything's fine with hardware, BSODs still happening, recently I noticed that one happened when unplugging my USB devices. They happen totally on random, more probability of it happening after a standby or prolonged PC uptime (5 hours or more).

Now it happened when my sound card was malfunctioning (Windows didn't even react on driver changes) then when I plugged it off, it BSODed me... Imma try to completely reinstall my Xonar U3 drivers and get rid of realtek ones.

Please run the dm log collector again and upload the zip.
I'm kinda useless without any data of the bluescreens.

Sorry for really long wait - I haven't been experiencing BSODs because I found a workaround for those - disabling sound card and cancelling the "restart is needed" prompt made it avoid the BSOD from happening, but issue is annoying and still occurs as it happens, when my PC suddenly disables my whole sound card altogether. I recently forced a BSOD as I knew when it was going to happen, got fresh logs that actually saved. (sometimes had issues with lenghy data collecting by system after BSOD happened, and had some urgent stuff to do, so had to force it to restart without saving logs) I attached new zip below. I'm going to clean install sound card drivers now.

    Attachment 52417

EDIT - clean install of sound drivers did nothing, at least the way I did it - uninstalled both realtek and asus xonar drivers, let windows install realtek drivers and installed xonar drivers manually.

It is odd that an Intel graphics driver is flagged, but you have a nvidia GPU
