BSODs at random times after windows upgrade

Hi there, I recently managed to get a cryptowall/cryptolocker virus. I wiped everything, formatted c: and reinstalled windows 7 home premium. Was getting constant, seemingly random BSODs 10+ times daily. Tried a bunch of things, didn't work, so recently upgraded to windows 10. The BSOD's are a lot rarer but still occur at annoying times. I believe there's some kind of hardware problem now but can't figure out what it is.

I've had the PC for nearly 3 years now. Prior to the reinstalls there was never 1 BSOD and the machine would stay stable for weeks on end without a restart or issue.

    Hi thepineapple,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

Please uninstall AVG while troubleshooting, use Windows Defender as alternative and be extremely careful on the internet!
    Code:
    ffffd000`272c8e18 fffff800`348550c0Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\avgidsdrivera.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for avgidsdrivera.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avgidsdrivera.sys

    Uninstall AVG software | AVG

Please let me know how it goes :)

Thanks for the help man I appreciate it, butI actually found the original m/b disk and kind of jumped the gun and reinstalled windows 7, since the m/b disk was completely incompatible with windows 10. Plus bf4 was constantly crashing in w10 and clearly you can't even run a 3rd party antivirus. w7 now rock solid for days. Don't know why the original disc is required and the drivers from the asus website cause so much trouble but there you go. I'll probably try Windows 10 again down the track when they've fixed their stability issues with older hardware, or the hardware vendors have, whichever. Thanks again :)
