    Alright so I put the cmos battery back in and configured the time settings on it, but it still gives me that same message after the bios screen: "reboot and select proper boot device, or insert boot media in slected boot device and press a key"

    Please boot from recovery media, go to the advanced troubleshooting options and open command prompt
    In command prompt enter the following commands
    Code:
    Diskpart
    List disk
    Select disk {x}
    List partition
    {x} is the number of the disk where the OS is installed on, normally it is 0, zero, so in that case enter the command 'Select disk 0'.

    Please make a photo of the command prompt and post it, I would need to see the partitions of the system.
    It sounds like your hard drive has already given up on you, but I have seen it also being caused by partition problems.

    I'm afraid you need to replace your hard drive in order to boot again.

    I was greatly afraid of that, I had just bought the drive within the past couple months so it's extremely disappointing that I have to buy a new one again.

    Isn't there warranty on the hard drive?

    This is a faulty hard drive, with a new purchased hard drive I would think you would get a replacement.
