Alright, after opening the repair my pc setting in the win10 setup thing from the usb, I go into:

troubleshoot\advanced options\start up repair - all it says is "startup repair couldn't repair your pc" and has a "log file:" section but has no log files and just refers me back to the advanced options.

troubleshoot\advanced options\system restore - it pops up an error screen saying "to use system restore you must specify which windows installation to restore. restart this computer, select an operating system and then select system restore"

troubleshoot\advanced options\system image recovery - it says it cant find an image to restore from, which was to be expected since I had had an image to recover with.

troubleshoot\advanced options\go back to the previous build - it saysit ran inot a problem and cannot take me back to the previous build and suggests resetting the pc.

troubleshoot\advanced options\command prompt - when entering the prompt I type "cd boot" and it comes back with "the system cannot find the specified path. so that didnt do anything either.

the only thing I haven't tried is resetting the pc, but I only want to try that as a last resort, is there anything other suggestions you have or is a reset my only option?

Is the rebuilding of the boot files also tried?

if you mean through the command prompt then yes, it's the second to last one in my last post where it says:

"troubleshoot\advanced options\command prompt - when entering the prompt I type "cd boot" and it comes back with "the system cannot find the specified path. so that didnt do anything either."

Attachment 48206 okay for some reasons the inputs actually went through this time, even though i did it like 3 times before and always failed. But it's like it cant see the drive or something, the drive shows up on my laptop when in the external casing.

yeah about 95% of the time, ever since it stopped booting, every once in a while it disappears but a restart usually brings it back.

The drives use SATA, also how am I supposed to use that system spec program if the computer doesn't boot? on a side note, I just went a looked at my specs I entered when making the account and it has all kinds of slots for drives, coolers, monitors, etc. I didn't know there were slots for all that because during account creation those slots aren't there. When signing up you only have motherboard, ram, os, model, gpu, and maybe another one but there weren't any slots for drives or anything.

    Sorry, forgot about that

It has been a few months since I registered and I can't remember the options, but there are many things that we need from your side for better help.

What is on the other hard drives? I hope not something that you need when booting for the following below.
I would like you to try disconnect every peripheral and hard drive you don't need and see if you can boot.
