Nothing has been changed on my computer except the updates you told me to do. I am updating these drivers now and we will see what happens. As for the Logitech mouse there are no driver updates so I may have to just buy a new mouse it seems. It is a little odd to me that all of the new ones are intel issues. I have followed your link and when I install the tool that they all link to it doesn't give me an option of downloading updates to all of them so I will run it again after the restart and see what happens.
Ok so I changed the intel drivers...the problem is windows keeps reinstalling the old ones. I have now made it so it wont install without my permission but I don't know how to get rid of those updates so they don't go through when I install other updates. I will try to figure that out on Monday.
SO in other words I think that is how there were more drivers that were bad the last time since when windows updates one of the drivers it installs 3 others as well.
Thanks,
ok axe0 things have been so I have tried to tax the system a bit to see of it is a real fix and I guess I hit a wall. I have had 2 BSOD in the span of 1 day now (not as frequent at all as before but still troubling). One was a pfn_list_corrupt and the other was faulty_hardware_corrupted_page. Here is the log.
As always thanks for the help and let me know what I should do.
Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...s-how-use.html
NoteDo not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.
Run chkdsk http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...isk-check.html
Run HDTune to scan for errors, health and benchmark.
Let me know what the results are, prefered screenshots.
This thread is 4 years old and has not been updated in those 4 years so not likely that @HansLuther is monitoring it any more.
Hey David,
I eventually found that I had a bad stick of ram but I also had to do a complete wipe and reinstall of windows and those 2 things fixed everything. Within the last year i have replaced various parts on the computer but that meant after those few fixes it ran like a champ for over 3 years. Hope that helps
