Run it like it is with just the 2 1GB sticks for a while and see. That may have been the only problem. But, we won't know that until you give it a good try. I would look at buying a good ram kit for it. Buy whatever you need and only use the new ram in it. Don't mix it.

Yes, any game i play will produce a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION given enough time, often i'll lose sight of the internet before a crash as well.
For ESET i just downloaded the program you linked to me and ran the antivirus as you said, an unactivated NOD 32 antivirus 9 version 9.0.318.0. It says it is up to date.
Is that one windows 10 Compatible? I know that Smart Security 9 is the only one which will not cause problems with Windows 10.

http://support.eset.com/kb3733/ It doesn't say your version, but it does say all versions previously compatible are not any more. I can't say that is your problem, but AV will cause issues like this. I use Smart Security and I had a very hard time with it and it still doesn't work right after the upgrade.
They are very good at support though. I expect an update in the next couple of days.
Just an update, i played farcry 4 for a few hours last night on 2GB of ram, it was quite choppy but not unplayable (as expected from 2GB of ram). I did not get a BSoD that night, however upon exiting the game i noticed the computer had lost sight of the wifi, which is what usually happens before a BSoD. Even if ram sticks are the issue, i cannot game with 2GB of ram so i'd have to buy some more ram at some point. Today i went out and bought two 4GB DDR3 1600MHz ram sticks and have been using them for my ram. I ran the memory test with them and it did not produce any errors. After several hours of gaming i had the sight of the wifi drop out twice and one blue screen with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION as the error message.
The blue screen sat there for a very long time at 100% so i did a hard shut down, assuming it was just stuck or something. I don't know how useful the error file will be to you, but here it is anyways :)

When we get a dump file like what I just posted, what is typical is one of the three is the cause and the other two are the 'victim'.
This may sound a little technical to you but, if the online game you were playing was calling for additional info from the game (data on your hard drive) and/or graphics drivers and you lost Wi Fi connection. You would not be able to provide the game with the data and the game would crash.
If, on the other hand the storage drivers caused your hard drive to be unreadable, the hard drive would be unable to provide the driver data to the Wi Fi or the graphics and they would stop functioning.
I explain this so that you will understand a little. Your biggest problem, it seems, is your older hardware. Normally it would be pretty easy to download and install up to date drivers, but you don't have them.
Are you using a PCIe card or a Wi Fi Dongle? If you are using a Wi Fi dongle, would it be possible to remove it and connect by Ethernet wire? That would be the easiest way to find out if that is the problem. I also know that it seems that a lot of wi fi dongles have issues with Windows 10, probably because of drivers.
