BSOD after closing CS:GO or Dota 2

I tried everything and anything known to man, but I still get these freezes after I close CS:GO for example. It doesn't happen every time, but once a day, it freezes and i have to hard reset the computer.

I've reset my windows without keeping the files (so I believe that's a fresh install) and I did a rollback of the video driver to a version that supposedly works (353.62). I have less freezes with 353.62 than with the latest driver, but they still happen. Any info from the attachment? Because I'm really lost.

I had the same problems with Windows 7, that was the reason I upgraded, I thought the freezes would disappear.

    Hi sharpsh007er,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

The errors are 0x124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (Windows Hardware Error Architecture)
This means that there are problems with your hardware, but this error is also caused by overclocking, faulty drivers or BIOS problems.

    The problem:
Simply, an internal timer error has occured.
Unfortunately I can't be more detailed, because I am not familiair enough with this error problem in a 0x124.

    1. The CPU Stress Test showed nothing.
    3. SeaTools and chkdsk nothing.
I'll leave the ram check for tonight and come back tomorrow with that and the GPU stress test.

    2. Memtest showed no errors.
    4. GPU stress test for 30 minutes, temperature went to 72 degrees, other than that nothing happened.

It's a driver problem then(as I expected) ? But what can I do if I reinstalled Windows and used Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode to uninstall the previous driver and installed 353.62, which seems to have less freezes but still some?

If correct, there is no update for your BIOS. Please make sure your BIOS settings is running at optimized default settings

I had my BIOS upgraded by a company which is specialized in BIOS so I'm assuming it's running at optimized default settings.

Edit: What does bios have to do with my video driver crashing?

It isn't your video driver that is crashing, at least not for certain.

The BIOS plays a rol with causes for the 0x124, like settings that aren't correct (frequency of components, voltages etc.).
Also BIOS versions could cause a 0x124 due to a bug.

I changed my video card recently, I had an ATI Radeon HD 6950 before, I never had a crash with that (well at least not frequently after closing games). Also, rolling back the driver for the video card and adjusting some stuff in nVidia control panel as shown here have definitely toned down the crashes.
