Constant BSOD WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR while playing Vermintide
So, my PC has had few BSODs prior to this, but now something is wrong and severely. I'm getting BSODs at least once in every match I play in vermintide. Been doing my best doing memchecks, resetting BIOS settings and trying out RAM sticks solo and in different slots (it actually gave me stability for a short while but it's now gone again). Drivers up to date as far as I know.
Specs:
Asus Z97 Pro Gamer
i7 4790K
GTX 970
2 x 8 Gb DDR3
600W PSU
Windows 10 on SSD
Error code:
WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe001be6c8028, 0x00000000be000000, 0x0000000000800400
EDIT:
Found something. Could be CPU heat. Seems like bios is giving me false temps. Open hardware monitor claims my CPU cores are running at 90-100°C while I'm playing. Seems box cooler isn't up for the task. It has been doing well for any other game though.
EDIT2:
Found out from Intel's forums that outdated bios might also be causing this. Will buy a new USB drive from my workplace tomorrow and update bios. Will report temperatures and situation.
EDIT3: Found an old USB drive. Updated bios. No noticeable effect. Maybe 5 degrees or so down from idle temperatures, nothing under stress. Might try reapplying thermal paste to the 4 month old stock heatsink. If it doesn't help and you guys can find something from the logs telling about CPU or temperatures, I guess it's time to buy a new cooler for my CPU. I've been using stock ones so far without any problems though...
