I am assuming that they updated with windows to windows ten.
The only one that i updated myself manually is the wifi driver and i got it from the website.
went to asus website and searched my model and got the windows ten driver for it. The only reason i did that is because this problem arose and i was trying to fix it myself.
I chose the wifi driver because i have an educated hunch that it may be the root of the cause.
The reasons are as follows:
When i disable wifi heavy apps it seems to prolong the time before it crashes. (things like steam, creative cloud)
When i go into safe mode with networking, it wont actually have networking
and lastly it seems to me that when i disable wifi using the keyboard key for it, it seems to not crash as quickly. (it may not crash at all but it was hard to tell as it lasted a very long time, but then i went to uninstall the wifi driver and it promptly crashed during that so its hard to tell)
With all of this said, it is hard to tell whether anything makes any actual difference as the crashes are seemingly random.
And then lastly, how could my drivers even be the same as the ones from the website? They only have listed to windows 8 and i have windows ten?
Are they the same? or interchangeable? If that is the case i will go ahead and "update" to the windows eight versions from the mfg website.
