I just wanted to provide a quick update. The same BSOD started happening again, after I installed a PS2 emulator and Power Iso, both of which had been present on the previous OS installation. I have uninstalled them both and performed a system restore, I will report back if more BSODs occur. If not, that may have been the cause.
Edit: System Restore did NOT work. Reinstalling Windows...
