BSOD when waking windows from sleep

Hi, a few days ago I updated my 64 bit windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 pro, and ever since then whenever I put the PC to sleep and try to wake it the PC tries to start but the screen remains black and after a while a BSOD will appear (now with a sad face on it... amusing...) stating driver_power_state_failure, it happens consistently and only under those circumstances (at least for now) I tried running the driver verifier (as explained on other posts BSOD on sleep, DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - Windows 10 Forums) and followed the tenforums tutorial, but nothing in particular happened

I use the sleep function a lot and I cant have it like this, sorry for the trouble caused

Disable Driver Verifier now following Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums. Don't enable Verifier unless you are specifically asked to do so. The 0x9F (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE) is down to a driver not responding when you're asking the machine to wake, or it isn't powering down when the machine goes to sleep. Verifier will be of no use here.

Hi soubi,

Welcome to the 10forums.

Please disable driver verifier

Open an admin command prompt
Enter "verifier/reset" (without quotes)

Please check the manufacturer of your motherboard for BIOS updates, it is dating 2007
Please remove MSI software, it is known for causing BSOD's.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

Uninstall Daemon Tools
Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
- Double click the executable to open it
- Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.

The crash is caused by the Nvidia Video driver.
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia

Ok so, I have uninstalled all MSI software and daemon tools, made sure there is no SPTD installed, removed the ASUS driver (asacpi), removed the previous graphic card driver with the display driver uninstaller and performed a clean installation (under custom installation checked the clean installation box) and the BOSD persists :S

Recommended to update the drivers in red, these are network drivers.
