Windows 10: Many BSODs in multi-boot system and most suggest hal.sys
Please run a threat scan with Malwarebytes*, a full scan with your AV, scan your system with Adwcleaner, Kaspersky TTDSKiller and ESET Online Scanner
*(Uncheck trial version in the installation process)
Okay, it's taken 24 hours to run all these. Nothing found by any EXCEPT by ESET Online Scanner, which found 16 "threats", mainly OpenCandy and Bundled.Toolbar. All were classed as potentially unwanted or potentially unsafe. All were quarantined and subsequently deleted.
I then created a new msinfo32.nfo but again it would not open.
Doubtful that any of these threats are causing my BSODS, but I'll wait and update when I get the next one.
Thanks for your assistance - maybe you can suggest something else.

Ok.. so I have had blue screens from time to time, this being the tech preview I thought nothing of it. After the last one I thought that even though it doesn't BSOD under heavy load, it might be that my overclock was not as stable as it used to be...
Before installing Win 10 preview onto an HDD I disconnect the other bootable drives lest they be molested by the Windows 10 install process. After installing the preview and updating everything I shutdown the PC and re-attach the other HDDs. My...
