    BSOD Critical_Process_Died

The OS (win10Pro) is an upgrade from Win7Ultimate and this BSOD issue only started happening this morning. Unfortunately, my last image is from Friday so I'm not sure that will be of any help either. The diagnostic file is attached. One thing that is puzzling is that there is no minidump information, even though I've turned off CCleaner. Not sure if the lack of minidump file is an indication of something related or a result of the BSOD issue. I'll leave that up to you professionals!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give an old fart!

    Hi PCNSC,

    Welcome to the 10forum.

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

Please remove Advanced Registry Doctor, this is fake software as you ONLY need to edit/remove registry keys when specified what / how / where. Using software as Advanced Registry Doctor will increase the chance of an unstable system as such programs are not properly written.

    Please try following:
    • Open an admin command prompt
    • Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
    • When it finished reboot your system
    • Open again an admin command prompt
    • Enter sfc/scannow again

If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation" after the second SFC, please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.

Please check {windows partition}\windows\minidump and check if there are any dump files saved.
Please make sure your pc is configured for small dump files How to configure minidump | Windows 10 tutorial

    Thanks for the reply!

I haven't used ARD in quite some time since I discovered CCleaner. Nonetheless, you must have found evidence in what I sent. That is disturbing in and of itself!

Shortly after sending the post I ran SFC twice and each time it replied; "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation". I also went through and disabled a bunch of startup items that for some reason were still trying to be loaded even though I uninstalled them way before I upgraded to Win10Pro. Then while checking the Event Viewer I noticed a number of Scheduled Tasks that were not running for various reasons. Went into the Task Scheduler and removed them. Rebooted and all seems to be working well now. So, I guess we can call this solved...?
