    Bsod: Critical_process_died

    After upgrading to win 10 from win 7 I started to get BSOD CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. It always happens after I leave the computer for a while.
    I tried to read the logs, but I couldn't find anything that could mess things up. Also tried to uninstall some programs that seemed suspicious and ran anti virus with no success.
    I don't have a clue what's wrong.

    Hej och välkommen till TenForums!

    Code:
    BugCheck EF, {ffffe0015aec9840, 0, 0, 0}

    ETW minidump data unavailable
    Probably caused by : svchost.exe
    Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /f /r.
    Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

    Do the exact same steps for chkdsk /f /r but instead of typing in sfc /scannow type chkdsk /f /r.
    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - Windows 7 Help Forums

    Since this is an 0xF4/0xEF code it could mean that there's a virus, a failing harddrive, failing RAM stick/s. Run SeaTools(DO NOT RUN FOR SSDS) http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...s-how-use.html Also run MemTest86+ for 8 passes. It must be MemTest86+. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...memtest86.html Scan your computer for viruses using Malwarebytes. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...ware-free.html
