BSOD once a week with bug check code, 0x00000124

So, what you're saying is, they're going to analyze the dumps, the same dumps that you're analysing? I was hoping the advantage of tacking it to a tech, they could swap out the components, or even analyze the hardware in a way that you and I can't do over the internet. Also, I just had another BSOD while playing ARK, Survival Evolved. The weird thing about this crash, instead of displaying the frowny face and the WHEA hardware message, it only displayed a blue screen, same hue of blue, with nothing else. No text, no message, nothing. It didn't even create a dump file. It even made that same wierd buzzing noise that all the other BSOD 124 make. I looked at the event log and noticed that at the exact moment the computer crash, there was a low virtual memory message.

wait! You're saying, hypothetically, you would've already known exactly what needed to be fixed in my computer if you had it in front of you? I ask because I need to know if taking it to a computer repair shop is really worth it.

Before I do. I disassembled EVERYTHING. I'm going to rebuild it from the ground up. My only concern is installing Windows 10. From my info and previous posts, you know what hardware I have. I need to know if I should install MBR or GPT. GPT = UEFI, right? I know there are some settings in my BIOS that need to be set a certain way if I install UEFI. I believe it is secure boot and CMS. not sure what they need to be set to, though. Of course I want to install Windows 10 on the 500GB Samsung 850EVO while using the 2TB HD as a data drive.

If you remember, CyberpowerPC told me that the reason for my all my BSOD124 were due to my OS not being properly installed. Sure there are guides out there, but they don't take into consideration of my Motherboard BIOS settings. When I boot to BIOS, it says UEFI BIOS, does this mean that I need to use UEFI? If I choose the USB as first to boot, once the OS is installed on the SSD, when it reboots the last time, it will boot to the USB device, running me through the install process again. This has happened before.

In a previous post, I posted pictures of my BIOS settings. maybe you could look through and tell me what should be set so I can do a fresh install of Windows 10.
I want to atleast try a fresh install, with your help, before I go to a tech. you have to understand, I've been going through this for like 3 years.

I purchased a new Graphics Card yesterday a Geforce GTX 970. I also purchased a new Thermaltake High static pressure radiator fan to replace the cheap case fans they used in push pull configuration on my CPU's watercooler. I even replaced the all the SATA cables with new 6G cables. The only thing not hooked up is the old graphics card, the AMD 7950. I haven't hooked up the new one either because I wanted to wait.

What should I do from here? Should I do a clean install of Windows 10 first? Or should I try hooking up the new graphics card, and then boot into the old Windows 10 installation already on my SSD? I really want the problem to the old graphics card, because the only parts that I haven't replaced yet while having the BSOD 124 issues, the graphics card (which I now have but not installed yet) CPU, and Power Supply. Best Buy said I have 15 days to return the GPU to get a full refund. If my computer starts throwing BSOD124 with the new GPU, then I think its' safe to say my old GPU was not the problem. What do You think I should do from here?

Ok. Here's what I did.

updated BIOS to 2.80e and then I secure erased the SSD and unhooked the WD 2TB HD from the mainboard. I carefully followed all the instructions and for the first time since owning my computer, I have successfully installed Windows 10 Pro 64 in UEFI. Once the OS was installed, I installed the INF chipset, , realtec drivers, samsung magician, Malwarebytes and steam. Ran Windows update and the updates downloaded and installed.

This is weird because I have NEVER been able to get any version of windows installed without some kind of BSOD within the first minute. The computer is very responsive and all seems good so far, I even noticed that I have updated icons, which I never had before. I even have access to bitlocker, which I never had before.

Tomorrow I will Install the GTX-970. Any advice before installing? What about the on board intel 4000 graphics, should I disable that in BIOS? Also, now that Windows 10 is installed, can I switch CSM in BIOS to disable since I'm running all UEFI?

Installed the new GTX-970 and my computer is now booting up with the optimized defaults in BIOS!!!! If you look through this thread, you can see pictures that I took of my BIOS settings in order to get my computer some what stable. Basically everything turned off, all c states packages, hyperthreading, speedstep, intel turbo boost, ect ect ect, even though all theses are enabled by default when you load optimized settings, I still had to turn them off.... Not anymore with this new card. Even though I haven't gotten a BSOD is there a tool I can run so you can see if everything is ok?
