    Please try following

    Diagnostics Test

     HDD & SSD TEST

Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use - Windows 7 Help Forums

I have ran crystaldiskinfo and it came back clear the sea tools wont help because the only drive I boot off of is my ssd and I will run chkdsk although as far as I can tell my computer doesn't have any corrupt or misplaced files and has had no viruses recently on it

Please disable every device outside of boot device and mouse and keyboard and try chkdsk again.

When you run chkdsk on your primary drive it doesn't boot it into windows it does it before for booting so disabling won't make any difference correct?

Disabling is a little difficult, especially with SSD's, because you have to push a button very fast at the moment just before chkdsk starts to cancel it.

Chkdsk runs before windows, because the drives cannot be used when checking them.

Ok I just got home from work and brought my hd from my work computer which has Linux on it. Booted into Linux no problem and it crashed during prime 95 again on that hard drive which I use every day and have ran it 8 hours today previously. Definitely a hardware issue.
