Which tests have you performed with SeaTools?
Your mainboard manufacturer should give you the proper instructions to do that.

I did the long generic test with seatools
I don't see the option to run a smart test...
Also, as for updating my bios, i downloaded and started up @bios to flash the bios, but i got an error that says "This Driver can't release to failure"
Apparently the program still ran and I just updated my BIOS...
ahhh, no i ran it for windows, so should i run it for DOS? also, my boot drive is an SSD, so I'll just be testing the HDD?
Here's a picture of what it looks like. Under the basic tests tab i have the options to:
-Fix All
-Short Drive Self Test
-Drive information
-Short Generic
-Long Generic
-Advanced Tests
When I click Advanced tests, it says press f8 to turn on advanced tests and adds a tab called "Advanced Tests". under that tab, I have the options to:
-Firmware update
-Overwrite Erase
-SCT same time
-Erase Boot Sectors
The Short Drive Self Test is the test I mean.
Not sure why this test is called SMART for me.
So I ran the Short Drive Self Test, and mysteriously the option to do a S.M.A.R.T. check appeared under my basic tests, so I ran that too. My hard drive passed both tests.
