Yeah just says in Drive Status Long Generic - Pass
There are lots of causes for a system freeze, including an infected system
Please scan your system with Kaspersky, Malwarebytes (Uncheck the trial version with the installation process) and Adwcleaner.
Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner scanned finding nothing, Kaspersky has about an hour left, will update once it's done.
In case Kaspersky finds nothing too,
Please do the following:
- Open taskmanager
- Go to the tab startup
- disable everything
- Search msconfig and open it
- Go to the tab services
- Check 'hide microsoft services'
- Uncheck all other services
- Click apply and click ok
- Reboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.
Kaspersky came up clean, disabled everything except microsoft services and rebooted, managed to get a little further in outlast but then it froze again, tried kerbal and that froze within 2 minutes.
Please make sure there is no dust anywhere in the case.
Check for hardware driver updates via the internet.
There's no dust, literally 1 week old build and everything's updated to the latest build, gone through device manager and checked everything, says it's all working fine. Maybe somethings mechanically faulty?
Are there BIOS updates?
No program interferes, system files are fine.
If the BIOS doesn't have updates and is loaded for optimal settings, then either somewhere a cable is loose, misconfigured or there is hardware damage.
