    Windows 10 Home x64 BSOD Critical Structure Corruption


    Hi, I get a BSOD ranging from every hour to every couple hours, either during normal use or while I am away. I built my PC a few days ago and the first couple days I had no problems. This has been going on since yesterday. File is attached.

    Hi Frabbi 01,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

    Unfurtunately, the only dump in the zip file doesn't contain any information as it says
    Code:
    Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE )
    If you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting.
    This because programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.

    Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:


    Please use the tool again and upload the zip file when you have a few dumps (located in {Windows partition}\Windows\Minidump\.

    Alright,
    All of them are the same as the one of yesterday (28th).
    The usual causes are
    1. Device driver,
    2. Breakpoint set with no debugger attached,
    3. Hardware (Memory in particular)



    If you are not a developer then the 2nd is ruled out.
    Please check your device manager for problem devices, below is a list, but in the device manager are more details.
    When there are no problem devices left and the problem still occurs, please check the memory.

    MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

    Solved!
    I just restored to right after I did the first critical Windows update. I left the PC on all last night and had it on a few hours so far tonight. No BSOD.

    According to another post, Alcohol 120 is a problem. What happened is that was one of the programs I installed, and it didn't work, so I could only get rid of it by deleting the folder contents. I couldn't uninstall because a file was in use. The BSOD started after that. CCleaner registry cleaner was no help either, but the System Restore worked.
