ok I didn't get any screen like that just the yellow exclamation on the task bar and when I click that the pc goes dead. any idea what that could be ?
Please make a screenshot of the yellow exclamation and post it.
Please do the following:
- Open an admin command prompt
- Copy/paste "sfc/scannow" (without quotes) and press enter
- When it finished reboot your system
- Open again an admin command prompt
- Enter sfc/scannow again
If sfc/scannow does NOT say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation", please upload the cbs.log file located at {windows partition}\Windows\Logs\CBS\, if the file is too large try a 3rd party uploader like dropbox, onedrive, google drive, mediafire etc.
System File Check(SFC a.k.a. Windows Resource Protection) needs to have your system rebooted in order for sfc to try to fix the problems that it finds.
I have corrupt files even after running the scannow twice .
this is the link to the log file
Dropbox - CBS.log
thanks in advance
The file 'experience' and the source are corrupted.
Please try following command in admin command prompt
If there are problems with RestoreHealth, please follow step 6 or 7 (depending on the file you have from the download) from the tutorial DISM - Repair Windows 10 Image - TutorialCode:DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
I am getting this error after using this code to fix through my usb Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:L:\Sources\Install.esd:1 /limitaccess where L is my usb drive

The source files could not be found.
Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required t
o restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log how can I fix this?
actually I had a activated win 8.1 pro and used the internet to update the pc and it was done on the first time . I have a usb boot which I got from my laptop since I had problmes updating that but ultimately I didn't use to upgrade from the usb and did it from the windows upgrade. Now when I use this usb to do an inplace upgrade it asks me for a product key but I only have a windows 8 key . What do I do or where shall I get the install.esd if I cant use the usb. Will it be on my PC . Really confused now
I have win 10 pro on my laptop can I get the corrupt files from there?
