PC crashes waking up from sleep

    Hello!

My PC has been crashing and restarting when I wake it up from sleep for the last month or so. It doesn't crash every time I put it to sleep which I find confusing but it's seems to happen a couple times a week.

I first ran into this issue in 2021 and back then I updated my drivers, made sure Windows 10 was up-to-date and ran MemTest. I might've even updated the BIOS. Nothing seemed to work until I found a forum that suggested I replace my PSU, which I did, and that fixed the crashing issue.

Sadly, it started crashing again this year and I'm at a loss.

I built this system back in 2020 and the only things I've done is add a second WD NVMe and change the PSU.

    EVGA RTX 2060 6GB KO
    Corsair RM650x
    WD Black SN750 (2x500gb)
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black
    Windows 10 Build 19045

    V2 log collector: DESKTOP-QVPD3I2-(2024-03-30_00-21-11).zip - Google Drive

I was away for a couple of weeks so that's why there's a huge gap in the dmp files.

    Hi Zbook,

Are you looking for results outside of the overview, temperature and SMART for WDS 500G2B0A-00SM50?

I've posted those images in the drive but I can add other results if those aren't it.

    Today is 04/02/2024.
The V2 log collector ran on 03/30/2029.
There was a drive in which Windows found a bad block as of 03/29/2024.

It could be a temporary drive as none were found in the software tests.
Or Windows could be a false positive.
Or the software tests could be false negative.

How is the computer stability / instability?

    Code:
    Event[2536]:
      Log Name: System

Ahh okay. Hard disk 2 would be WDS 500G2B0A-00SM50 then.

    What's a temporary drive?

The computer seems stable. It hasn't crashed in a couple days now but I'll keep an eye on that drive going forward.

    A temporary drive could be:

    a) flash drive
    b) temporarily attached hd/ssd drive using a HD enclosure
    c) smart card
    etc.

The device, \Device\Harddisk2\DR3, has a bad block.

The message is symbolic (Harddisk2 does not have to be disk management disk 2).

Macrorit can run overnight while sleeping.

    HD Sentinel results are instantaneous.
