At 90°C with 0% GPU Load? That may be most of your problem. If it is being really used at all, it will crash.

OK, any card you can borrow will run OK with that PSU. That was the reason I asked. The PSU should always be a concern when installing a graphics card. But yours should have no problems.

With the fan still on the GPU it remained about 45. At around 8 pm I started memtest86+. It has been running now for 2 hrs10 mins without the monitor hang. So far 2 passes and no errors with only the original 3 dimm chips in.

Monitor Screen stayed on all night. It's showing 8 passes no errors.
I'm assuming that 8 is enough and I can stop the tests.

8 complete passes is indeed enough.
If you have had any new bluescreens, please use the tool again and upload the zip file.

Thank you @essenbe for your help :)

A question then. Could the GPU be causing the Memory corruptions and "IRQLnot less or equal" BSOD?

Yes, it's possible. Just see how it goes for a while now that you have the GPU temp solved.

well temporally solved. With a loud fan blowing on an open case
I'll have to get a new GPU for the long term. One with a fan on it.
