Will my files be there ? I don't mind losing software but I am worried about my files and my browser bookmarks etc.


EDIT: If I choose the "Upgrade Windows" option will that be viable for my case or not ?

The custom install is designed to install a fresh windows version and save files to windows.old.

Make sure that you follow the text and images in the tutorial.

The custom install can fail to complete if there is insufficient drive free space for the creation of Windows.old.

If that happens then manually backup files and clean install.

What about the "Upgrade Option" as I saw in the pictures ? Sorry if I ask too many question, I want to assure myself that I won't lose my files.
